Preplaced CPS - when will P0335 Code Clear?

I have a 98 900S clear of codes for years, but after a few failures to start when warm (always started after waiting an hour) I saw a failed CPS System A P0335 code on my scanner.
I replaced the CPS with a BOSCH OEM from eEuroparts today but still see the code come up on my OBD scanner even after driving around the block a few times. Do these codes have a drive cycle to clear or is manual intervention required? For this problem the check engine light never came on.
Thanks in advance,
Otto
