Had this problem on a clients 92X. I checked the ground wire opposite of the the 12 volt supply for the heater circuit to complete the circuit. Found weak ground running back to the computer. Not sure if you can clip in extra ground to the chassis or if the computer has a timer for the heater control. Client has to bring the car back to know if this works. Locate the ground wire to the computer and back check the continuity. This one is a brain teaser.
