Thanks nwas. Thanks for reminding me to check the type of plugs. Given that he only works on Saabs, I assumed, but then again, assuming is what lead me here to begin with. Thanks for the differentiation between DI cassette and crankshaft. And yes, have already written a review though should probably revise it to something less 'chatty'. This guy came from mechanics listed here on Saabnet and seemed to have a very good rep. Apparently, it takes up to 3 months to update reviews.

And ps..poop deck...can't help it...I love driving Saabs. Was out of the country for 8 years, came back and just couldn't find anything else that I like as much. If the 3 door Mitsubishi Monteros were in the US, maybe. But they're not. Still, I live up a mountain and during all my weeks of rental cars, I just kept thinking about how much fun those curves will be when I get my Saab. So I hope to get this one right. I think I'm just frightened now that the same guy who put in the new motor made me wait 2 more weeks to put in a new caliper that is leaking brake fluid. Not sure if that's a fluke or indicative of his work.
