My used 2003 9-3 'vert came with no radio. The dealer told me that I can't install another radio (divorced or not) until my car and its original radio are divorced. I've been told by others on this BB that I can put one in from a donor car and divorce it--if it hasn't already been divorced--by setting the DICE on my car to the VIN of the donor car. After the divorce I can then marry the radio to my car by setting the DICE to the VIN of my car. Anders assures me that this will work, BUT is it true that I can't do this unless my car and its original radio have been divorced? Sounds like a Hollywood sit-com, I know, but it sure would be nice to have tunes again! Thanks, all.
