Whenver I accelerate while driving (not in park) and the turbo gauge goes to yellow (middle segment) I get this wierd sound from the engine compartment. It sounds like the turbo since the sound is not present until I accelerate and reach yellow stage of gauge.

The sound (a loud low whoosh) lasts for a few seconds or more and fades as the tubro pressure releases. I do not get smoke out the exhaust or anything like that and the engine seems to perform without any problems. The sounds only recently became audible.

Any ideas?
