Bad throttle body and slow start?

My car is now at 200,000 miles. (Saab 93 se 2002)
Last weekend, the throttle body recently failed (CEL 1260 regularly), and I am waiting for my part to show up.
Separately, for the last few weeks, I've noticed that my car is taking a couple seconds to start (i.e. not immediate....maybe 6-8 cranks instead of 2-3). I don't think this issue is connected to the TB. I've also tried turning the key to the on position for a few seconds to get the fuel pump going --> no difference.
A few days ago, I changed the plugs to new copper plugs gapped at ~10. (same as I've always done the last 9 years of ownership every ~20K miles)
The car started even worst than before. It would turn over after ~2 cranks, but immediately die. The second time I crank I would get a start after ~3-4 cranks, and car runs normally (still TB issue). This happened twice (sunday when I changed the plugs), and monday morning driving to work. The weather is not particular wet or cold. I haven't driven the car since those 2 starts.
Is there a connection to the TB, or am I experiencing a dying starter? The battery should be strong, as I brought it new in March when my alternator died. I'll get that checked out back where I brought it the next few days...
