A question for the experts. I've got a 95 900S 2.3l non-turbo motor 93K miles, purchased new. This motor consumes approx. 1qt. of oil every 2500 miles. Is has done this since new. Is this normal for this motor or was it never broken in properly ? I guess there's nothing I can do about it but is there any reason this will shorten the life of the motor. Thanks.
PS. My 87 Toyota truck with 130K has never burned a drop of oil.
