Had one on the 9000 I bought in April. Had been on there a couple of years and the center muffler was toast. Totally gone inside and dying at the inlet and outlet. The PO had paid about $90 for it. Thin, cheap steel and lousy hangers.

The Starla Walker I had on my other 9K went almost 5 years when the flex pipe died. The rest of the system had another 6 months or so left, maybe even a year.

If you have a good custom exhaust shop nearby, do that unless you're in a time crunch-- you'll pay about the same as you would for a Starla Walker. Was gonna do that but the timing was bad.

The other part of longevity is how you drive. If the exhaust never gets really hot-- as in a hour or so on the highway on a regular basis, you'll have water inside that rots it out internally.
