Ageed...clarifying my earlier point Posted by NCCaniac [Email] (#352) [Profile/Gallery] (more from NCCaniac) on Sat, 11 Feb 2012 15:38:49 In Reply to: Some thoughts...., AlaskanViggen, Sat, 11 Feb 2012 14:27:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
AlaskanViggen makes a good point about considering safety following the repairs...and being sure. When I described my case, the car that rear-ended me was sitting right behind me at the light stopped and just drove into me (obviously not paying attention). I knew exactly that the damage was only to sheet metal, bumper, and repairs did not impact the safety and driveability of my 9-3. Each case is different and I would not suggest that everyone go the salvage title route. Just sharing information...every case is different. I was fortunate in my case to have enjoyed my Saab for seven more years now. Just do your homework, fight for as much as you can get and then make a wise decision. Sometimes that is just to cut your losses and move on.
