Actually, it's pretty common, and there is likely nothing wrong at all. It happened to mine and I found the solution here on this board. If you have not used the rear washer in a long time there is a frequent tendency for the pump to lose its prime (not sure the reason) and for the line to acquire air pockets. The solution is to just run the pump for an extended length of time until the air is evacuated and it starts to flow washer fluid. It takes a while! But first be sure the pump is working, so listen for it when you engage the switch. Also, since it takes a long time for the pressure to return, I would put the rear wiper in the raised position while you're cycling the pump in order to avoid unnecessary wear. After I corrected the problem I now run the rear washer every time I wash the car and that keeps the line full of fluid and ready to go.
