Does '00Viggen have coolant overflow near heater hoses? Posted by Rob [Email] (#1828) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Rob) on Tue, 21 Feb 2012 12:41:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I thought I might have a problem with my 2000 Viggen leaking a small amount of coolant from the area in the engine department where the heater hoses go into the firewall. But on getting underneath I found there is a rubber hose just inches beneath where the heater hoses enter the firewall - this new hose runs straight out from the firewall a couple of inches, then turns 90 degrees down for a couple of inches, and then the hose's sides collapse inward toward each other to form what I'd have to call (sorry) lips. The coolant is dripping from the end of this short hose that, by its design, appears to be some sort of drain...? I can't find this anywhere in my manuals -- all help appreciated!!
