Not one else is biting so I'll chime in. I have Bilstein HDs on my 9000 combined with B&G lowering springs. The ride is stiff and harsh, no doubt about that, which is pretty much what I was aiming for, but it handles amazingly well.
I used to have an '01 'vert and I couldn't imagine HDs on that car. With the amount of shake and rattles the car produced with its stock setup (plus 6 pt subframe brace and rear ARB), I think HDs would be just too harsh. If you don't mind getting your brain rattled though, I think it would do a lot for the handling. Can't really speak to the sports, but going back to Sachs at this point would probably feel mushy after your Konis.
