Access to Antenna & Motor - moving the carpet Posted by juanm [Email] (#201) [Profile/Gallery] (more from juanm) on Mon, 30 Jul 2012 19:23:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have done this before but on this 2002 Saab 9-3 SE, it seems different. Perhaps it just has been a while since I did this.
here's a simple question.
I can remove the side carpeting that covers the antenna and motor by sliding the carpet out from under the rear black panel (see photo at http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/members/gallery.html?memberID=201&edit=now) but I think it might be easier (and easier to replace) if I CAN remove the back black plastic panel that seems to be held in place by the tie-downs.
That is the basic question how is that black plastic panel held in place? Is it by the two tie-downs (the screw that holds the tie-down in place)? How is this panel held in place?
do I have to move this panel
Or should I just push the carpet over to clear the black plastic panel?
thanks.
Juan
