Replacing the radiator on an automatic 9-3 is a tough DIY job (the manual is a little easier, as I understand it). You have to remove quite a few parts to get to it, and then it's still tough to maneuver it free of the pipes that bring the transmission fluid up for cooling. Expect a lot of head-scratching as you attempt to unlock the puzzle, and then put it all back together.
I replaced mine a couple months ago, with a two-post lift at my disposal, and it took me the better part of a weekend. Of course, my shiny new radiator turned out to have a crack in the bottom from shipping damage, so having to do the swap a SECOND time turned it into a three-day affair!
Supposedly a good shop can do it in around 3 hours, maybe less, so it all depends.
