I need to know the oil capacity of the five speed manual transmission in a 1999 9-3SE. Searched here, searched google, found only one reference to 4.6 liters and that seems like an awful lot. Drained unit from bottom plug (so it should be totally empty) replaced that plug removed top plug and level plug. Poured in less than two quarts and it's coming out the level plug hole. What does your Saab manual say? As a rule I don't work on NG cars so I don't have any NG manuals and don't want to buy any. Thanks!
