First off, I have never observed a shift issue of that magnitude that was caused by using a wrong fluid, let alone one that sounds like it's in the ballpark of what should be in there. Sure it could cause some notchiness, and some extra effort in cold weather, but not to the point that it is very hard to get it into all gears.
Apparently you have adjusted your shift linkage properly, so that should be ok.
If your motor mounts appear ok, then maybe the only thing left is your clutch, or the possibility that the guts of your trans are shot, but I don't think that's it. Regarding the clutch, I would bleed it (as best you can), then follow up with leaving the pedal depressed overnight. I tried this trick as a last resort effort before I went to more extensive means to bleed my slave, and somehow it worked, even though it still makes no sense to me. After you've done this, and you still have a problem, I would give up and take it in if I were you.
