Hi guys,
For a while now I’ve been looking to get a new heater box for my ’99 Viggen since the air flow does not flow in the correct direction. The part I needed was 5330501 because this was when the issue was fixed post 2000.
I found the above item and it had 5330501 in the description and it also looked like the part. However the part numbers I actually see on the part are 4755609, 4635843, and 4366373. Nowhere do I see the 5330501.
4755609 I’m not sure what that is, I did research online but it was difficult to tell. If you check out the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/190848532134 on the 3rd picture it has the sticker for it the same as mine but right below it on the part itself it has the 4635843. I have a feeling the 4755609 was superceded by 4635843 or is that just some random sticker?

If you refer to this link and look for 4635843 and 4366373 it refers to 94-96 900 model. 4635843 is the distribution housing and 4366373 is the heat exchanger housing.
I don’t know if I should return it or install it. First I don’t see the part number 5330501 anywhere and that is misleading. Second I’m thinking that if they do even fit the Viggen that it might not resolve the issue since it’s not the 5330501 part number. I am desperate to get this fixed and the 5330501 is impossible to find.
Please let me know if you think I should return or install it, thank you for your help. If I’m not making sense please let me know.
