CD changer delete

I have installed the CD-connect aux-in in my 2002 viggen, which replaces the cd changer option with an MP3 player input jack. Since the cd changer is now about as useful as a typewriter in the trunk, I have removed it.
However, I know have a small rectangular hole in the side carpet, with two threaded studs sticking out. Does anyone know if there is something I could do to eliminate this? Like a different p/n side carpet piece that doesn't have the rectangular cut-out?
