I don't think it could be the boost control valve or turbo bypass valve, they don't fail in that way creating that kind of problems.
Sudden failure of air mass meter could behave like this. Even fuel starvation but it is rare that a Saab fuel pump would fail partially and still allow the engine to start and run at 2000rpm without load.
Failed throttle body being in limp home mode is another possibility.
But I still say to check all turbo hoses one more time and listen for air escaping when you load it up.
