Hello, yes you should perform the flush quoted on the bulletin below it greatly improved shifting in those gearboxes. There actually used to be a synchro kit with some other parts to improve numerous problems in these gearboxes and it was rarely ever needed after upgrading to the newer fluid although redline always works great too. As far as you drain and fill plugs they are both 8mm allen. The drain is mounted low on the box near the cradle a little hard to access. the fill is located beside where the drivers side axle enters towards the back a little and slightly up from the plate.
