Hello,
I wanted you to watch the cluster to help diagnose if you have an ignition switch problem as a +15 power loss when cranking often is noticable as a flickering of the check engine light or the cluster lighting. Also make sure your battery and cables are good as voltage dropping below 10.5v to 10v will not power up the ecm when cranking. Also any module/computer in the car if it not working properly has the ability to crash the bus system of the car and prohibit starting or running of the engine. As far as programming a module a tech 2 with saab software is required. Good Luck, Bernie
