Well, I've removed the alternator and the upper bracket, with efforts focused on moving the bushing outwards on the lower bracket. It's really stuck. Just got finished giving the bracket around it a torching (protected the nearby inner tripod bearing with sheet metal), and I'm trying to fashion a bushing extractor from a threaded rod, nuts and washers. But the outer surface of the lower mount is angled, so the washers don't sit flat on it. We'll see. Advice? Anyone?
