I haven't heard about R specific exhaust valves. At least not from factory spec cars.
The B205L and R and B235R use the same exhaust valve, p/n 9179219.
The whole complete cylinder head seems to have the same p/n 93169239 for 2000-2003 B205L/R and B235R.
The connecting rod p/n is not a good number which can be the case many times if you read it off the rod. They seem to use different p/n many times in production then what they use when you order a new part.
There are three different connecting rods to pick from for the B235R engine between 99 and 2002 depending on year and engine number and none of the numbers seems to cross connect so that makes it a little bit difficult to pin point what is correct or not and what you have.
Maybe you can get more info from the performance board where I would think they talk more about engine building.
