Thanks for your comments. Actually I've been learning allot about body shops and insurance companies. With a modest fee to a private appraiser I was able to more than double the insurance payout and they're re-reimbursing said fee. Looked into and applied for a do over by our local community college state of the art body shop program. Will know in a couple weeks. Their labor's free, I pay for a used door and it'll probably take forever. So far we think I can get away with replacing a tie rod, door, hinge piller, trim, little body work and it'll be ready to paint. Would just love to show up this high class body shop and their 14K+ price tag. Might be entertaining to document the progress here. "Viggen Returns from the Dead" Keep tuned.
