When you press the TCS button, it disables TCS. You can fry one tire all day long with that turned off. John cannot disable TCS, but he can change the allowable % slip which is the comparison between the left and right wheel speed sensors. This essentially makes the intervention of the TCS system much less frequent. Of course, you still have the ability to fully disable it by pressing the TCS button. Also it seems like you're implying that his tune mitigates the fact that the car has an open diff... and nothing in his tune can change that. This is nothing against JZW products, I speak very highly of him, but in the traction department there's not a bunch of magic, because electronics aren't going to have much, if any, impact.
