You must go to a dealer to get your SRS-lamp reset, the error-code is stored in the control unit, regardless of disconnecting the battery.
There are several known problems/cures for the SRS-lamp:
1. Get it reset, and that's it (could be caused by a bump or so)
or:
2. Problem with ignition switch
3. Problem with slip ring contact in steering wheel
4. Problem with wiring harness to passenger airbag
5. Problem with SRS Controle Module
Depending on year and country for your car,it could be a warrenty issue.
Try: Search the NG900 BB for: SRS, or folow link below to find some known solutions, both low costs and high costs.
But first: go to the dealer and let him read out the error code.
