on my 5th saab since 1992, now living in Canton, NY - near Canadian border. 2002 9.3 SE, 174K, just had valve gasket replaced, and oil change (synthetic) now oil light and scary /!\ light flicker on/off for 4 or 5 minutes after cold start. Thinking low oil pressure, bad oil pressure switch, pump? or possible sludged intake :(
Local mechanic says he does not have a way to measure oil pressure.

level is fine. car also has a slow leak at head gasket (since purchased in FL 2 yrs ago). Really want a Saab guy with Tech 2 to give it a look. Nearest indies are 3 -4 hours away (Albany, Rochester or VT). On here, I have tried to reach Scandinavian Auto in Nepean Ontario, but no answer for the past 2 wks. Maybe on a winter break?

If any saab peeps have experience (good or bad) with any of the central NY folks, please chime in. Or even better, with Scandinavian Auto, as they are only an hour from me! Really not wanting to drive it hours with possible oil pressure issue, afraid of further damage.

I like this car (it is my 3rd NG900/OG9.3) and really want to keep it in good condition!
