its the thing that looks like a target. if you can pry out your ACC Module (thin screwdriver bit is needed, just get it started and you can pull the whole thing out easily) then you can see the Cabin Air sensor motor.
my car has a blank button to the right of the sensor so i just pry that one out, and then i can see the sensor cover better.
get the cover off the sensor again by prying it out.
then, to get the sensor out, it has to be pushed towards the front of the car. Also, you need two flat blade screwdrivers one on top and one on bottom to pinch the 'clips' together and push the sensor forward and out of its spot. then disconnect the wire connector at the back.
get a few q tips and clean off both sides of each of the vanes. then spray penetrating spray onto the shaft where the vanes are (you can see about an 1/8th of the shaft there. allow it to soak in for at least 5 minutes.
reassemble all and it will be much quieter.
