Thank you for your responses. There was no problem with the shifter prior to this. I earched the old posts, and saw that one perosn had to replace the key. I previously tried to get the car ou tof gear and into neutral but will try again tomorrow. So unusual that the key wont turn! anyother thoughts are appreciated. Thank you
