The 9-3 has a difference stereo system, difference springs/struts in the front suspension for more travel. There have been changes in the engine ECU and intake systems, and changes in the door lock and alarm systems. The SID is different, the high mount stoplight is different, the bumper covers and sill guards are different. The foglamps and rear hatch panel are different. The ducting for the interior heat and A/C is different. The A/C compressor is different.
But much of the cars is still shared.
