00 9-3 brake vacuum hose 5057856 not available?

I don't know if my car is a unicorn or what, but my 2000 93 manual has a broken brake vacuum hose. it goes from the booster on the master cylinder and then pokes down into the intake manifold.
When I look up my car in every parts catalog like eeuroparts or even genuine saab, they all show a similar hose, but it has a screw connector on the end opposite the brake booster, but my car just has a "bayonette" like tube that pushes down into the manifold. The cars with automatics have a "y" pipe.
The only correct hose I can find is Saab part number 5057856 but I can't find it available any available. Eeurpoarts lists it as no longer available and they wanted $231.21 for it, which is 4 times as much as all the other hoses, and this one is the smallest...
What gives? Has anyone else had this problem? I'm going to try and making my own from a similar pipe like the one from the automatic, and then put the two ends together with some flexible hose. I'm not sure what else to do..
