no those IAC's seem to be in short supply (used) and quite expensive to replace!
However, i did have success simply disconnecting the battery overnight and voila, problem solved!!
Before that i had found the Evap purge valve vacuum line to the throttle body was disconnected and the car was idling fast. Because its behind the engine i didnt notice. i didnt actually drive the car in this state, i just turned it on and then off a few times. i gather this may have trained the ECM, so resetting it was the solution.
i also replaced the Evap purge valve after finding that disconnected hose, but the car had been running fine (for the most part) with the old one, so i'm not of the opinion that the valve was the culprit. The evap valve replacement stemmed from the car's behaviour last fall before i put it into storage - the car had completely died on me one time while cornering downtown (a real Whoa - WTF moment!) and also while at idle, would suddenly drop in RPM by 500 and almost die.
feel free to comment on the above if you have had similar experiences.
