I see, thank you. I will need to check out how substantial this "leak" is, but it may not even be much. I will do a flush of the transmission fluid and keep an eye on it.
I suppose this depends on how bad it leaks, but how long can it go on like this? Does not driving the car in the winter for a few months cause things (seals?) to dry up and make it more prone to such sweating and maybe leaking?
Also, eventually, would the transmission need to be disconnected entirely to replace the seal? What's causing the leak? I would only trust a few shops to do this type of work.
