Hello,
While not extremely recommended shims can be used to correct both rear camber and toe. I have done it to my own cars. The rear toe actually is often off and sometimes way off. And if it is toed out it can make the car very twitchy when driving. I have found over the years that the bigger wheels on the Viggen make it much worse. So yes I have used shims to correct many customer cars as well. And one thing they always say is it is amazing how much better the car drives and handles. I will say that I prefer to lift the car to install the shims and then allow the car to settle overnight before trying to align it again. So it is time consuming to do this way but gives you the most accurate alignment. And installing the shims is pretty straightforward but the number of shims is a black art. Good Luck, Bernie
