If the clip that mio is showing is missing, the clutch hose would have popped off the clutch line going down to slave cylinder and all fluid would have leaked out of the brake master reservoir clutch compartment.
I'm not sure there is a clip holding the pipe to the plastic bushing. I think it rest on its own rigidity when bolted to slave cylinder so, some movement can be felt.
This is that other part of the puzzle.
If you have gotten air into the system for one or another reason (bad slave cylinder is one), it is a bear to get it out since the bleed nipple is not located down by the slave cylinder as in the older 900/9000 models.
