Dashboard instruments issues

Hi all,
My wife and I are Saab owners for many years We once had his and her 97 SAABs till mine was rear ended and totaled. (Now I have a 2007 9-3 Saabrolet)
My wife's 1997 900 SE Talledega, she inherited from her dad - who bought it new, has dashboard problems. The tachometer had been going bad for years and stopped working completely a while back, the speedometer was intermittent and currently not operating, the dash lights don't go on and of course the clock doesn't work either.
Took it to a Saab mechanic who said it needs a new-used dashboard. Only, this Saab has only 106 thousand miles one her and he said he would need a working dashboard with less mileage as he is not allowed to back the odometer - only forward the digits. Finding used parts from a SAAB 1997 that has fewer than 106 thousand miles on the clock will be a very difficult proposition.
Can the electronics be rebuilt or individually replaced? We live in Florida...
Thanks for any feedback.
- Don
