I've used their kits to fix both the SID (missing pixels) and the ACC unit on a '02 Viggen. I was a bit skeptical about the SID repair, because the original unit has the ribbon cable secured with a heat-treated conductive glue of some sort. The repair cable from pixelfix was very high quality (silver contacts), but you attach it to the board by lining up all of the pin contacts and placing a strip of simple scotch tape over the contact area. Then there is a piece of pressure foam/tape that holds it in place when you reassemble. I did this particular repair way back in 2014, and it is still working fine today, no missing pixels. They may have improved the kit since then, perhaps with a clip of some sort?
I did the ACC unit in 2019 with their "complete display & cable" kit, again, very easy to do and still working fine today. When you buy the kit you get access to the detailed video on their web site with step-by-step instructions. No soldering, no heat gun, you just have to be reasonably careful when you open up the units to not break any of the plastic tabs, etc.
