It seem today that alot of dealers do not know how to properly balance tires. It is easy to see if the tires have been improperly balanced by noticing if there are two sets of wieghts on the same side of the tire. If there are two sets of wieghts this what is called couterbalanced. The problem is the tire is not properly balanced and this will cause the tire to shake at varible speeds. You may also want a dealer to install your tire with a high speed balancing machine some dealer do not have this.
The other problems that you may have is the tires may be bent, improperly wound or have flat spots and all of these problems would cause a vibration as well. I have seen plenty of tires and wheels that look round with the naked eye but under closer examination are not round. Take your car to a NTB or Goodyear and they should be able to solve any problems that you are having.
