That was a decent price, but better prices are out there I suspect.
Replaceing pads on non turned rotors puts flat pads on rotors the are no longer flat. The outside wear faster the the inner edges. So the new pad and old rotors don't bed well. But after a while, things should wear in. I had a friend who got over 10 years on his Volvo brakes just changing pads. The Volvo and Saab brakes are quite similar. In a pinch, you can get Volvo pads for a 78 240/260, and enlarge the guide pin holes slightly, and they work great. I had to do this when local shops could not supply pads and I needed to do an emergency repair.
I am using Eurorotor's on the rear, after the semi famous inboard pads got rust bound to the caliper body. 114000 miles on the front brakes so far, just keeping the slides lubed, and hoping the guide bolts don't do anything self destructive.
