Check drive belt, battery electrolite level, 2 or 3 times a year. Inspect brake rotors and pads. Look carefully for uneven wear. Especially in the back brakes, the inboard pads can get rust bound in the caliper slots. If is a good idea to remove, clean up rust, grease the contact edges, and replace.
Are the head lamps dim?, might be time to remove, the lamps, remove the lense, clean and reasemble. They get dusting and hazy. See recent posts. But when reassembling, seat the clip on the glass first, then spring it over the plastic body. Some silicone grease on the plastic side will make refitting the clips less forceful.
If you have never done so, it is a good idea to tighten up hose clamps, on the cooling side, and the pressurized side of the turbo. There are 10 clamps on the latter.
The water pump should have been replaced by now, under a service campaign. The pully to shaft weld fails. Replacement units have some color'd paint on the shaft weld.
Basics: air filter, plugs, inspect for leaks. Ever had the brakes bled? Is the brake fluid in the reservoir very dark? Age of engine coolant?
