Is my mechanic being honest.

My 1997 900se Turbo is in the shop right now and I am uneasy about two things my mechanic said.
1) Replacing a cracked headlight lens will be $200. This seems high.
2) I asked him to fix the "humming" windshield problem that happens when the car goes 65mph and the windshield trim vibrates. He said that will cost $50. My problem is that this is a Saab bulletin on this problem (so they know about it) and my car is still under warranty. In my mind, this should be free. He says that Saab's authorized fix doesn't work and he wants a glass shop to come and fix th problem.
Any comments?
Thanks.
