Is the 6 CD Changer part number (in your audio manual) 02 47 544??
I just recently purchased a 1994 900 Comm Ed Convertible and am considering adding the CD Changer. Crutchfield says the Clarion CDC635 "will plug into and be controlled by the Saab CD Changer-ready factory radios, with no additional adapters and cables needed" in all Saabs between 1994 and 1997.
I'm unsure of this due to the Audio Equipment Manual (it is specifically for the Convertible) and carries the following warning: "The Saab/Clarion car audio system was designed specifically for use with the Saab/Clarion compact disc autochanger (Part Number 02 47 544). Use of any other changer may result in permanent damage to the audio system components and/or associated wiring"
I always appreciate your help!
