Ive read that the head unit is sometimes faulty and does not recognize the cd changer, how often does this occur, specifically in 97 models? ( i have a 97 900s). If the head unit was faulty would it still recognize the clarion cdc 605 (original. in other words is the original changer bought used a safer bet than a new one? Also has anyone had their head unit replaced/fixed out of warranty because of compatability problems, if so how much was it??
thanks in advance.
Frank
(i really need a cd player)
