I have always dreaded that this would happen sooner or later.
I havent had to deal with it yet.
Thanks to some sharp techs on another professional only list ....there is a alternative. Thought I would share it with you all. There are some issues I dont have details on.
#1 Do you hard wire a ground wire to #6?
IF NOT
#2 What happens when you unplug the battery terminal? It may resort to default settings and require the momentarty grounding of pin #6 again.

grounding pin 6 on the alarm ecu disarmed the system and
all works as before, just no remotes! Thanks especially to
'junk 900' for their exact repair process!!

customer locked car w/ keyless remote. then lost remote.
Towed to saab dealer where they told her she would have to
by a new alarm control unit and remotes for $1000. to make
car start again. I have removed the alarm ecu and have
bypassed the starter wires but fuel system will not power
up. Does any one know if it is possible to disarm the alarm
or bypass it? any ideas will be appreciated.
