I found that there were no drivability issues in snow and ice. You just drive with a light throttle, same as before, and stay off boost, so boost settings appear to be a non issue. I was wondering about this with my first winter with higher pressures. No problems at all.
In the winter you may need to reduce the boost a small amount as the boost comes on very fast in cold air, and when you go full throttle you could get a fuel cut. I feed my controller with manifold pressure, so it is definately worse case for this.
The install can take 1/2 hour if you take your time!
The $35 unit should work great. Perhaps someone else will post the url.
The transistion casting is very easy with a 1" drum sander. A flex shaft is nice to have. It is easy work and as the casting is removed so easily, you can do the work over a couple of sessions if need be.
95SET 120000 miles, and summer tires on again!
