First of all, from what I see, the best thing to go for suspension upgrade __(actually it cannot be really called upgrade since some cars rattle and shake over every bump...and that's more like suspension repair)__ would be the following:

KONI ---> If you want to keep the car for at least 3 more years and want more performance and a good ride.

MONROE --> If you want a good quality ride, less sporty and keep the car for at least 2 more years.

KYB ---> If you don't want to spend money and really need shocks and struts. Keep the car at least a year if you change them.

But now, after getting the struts and shock, the next painful expense is the so-called "minor" extra parts. The bearings costs about $33 each, washers will run you up to $20 each side, and now the painful part, the mounts are $100 each.

I did some searching for upper mounts and found the following: Tire rack sells, what they call "complete upper mount" for $48 each, which from what they say it includes all the needed parts including the plate the rubber and all the washers needed. Those are made by KYB, but the guys from Tire rack told me that it would work with any struts including Koni.

Did any of you guys purchased those mounts and if so, could you elaborate more on what parts came with them.

Also, Dean and Baab, what parts did you guys changed (or planning to change) for the front suspension? Also tips on how to tell what parts are needed, before and after starting the job.
