Getting the pressure tube through the firewall was a pain. The is a reported rubber gromlet behind the carpet which may work well. Getting the tube throught the double gromlet at the main wireing harness is very difficult and any damage to the harness at that location could be horrible.
It was a difficult install to get done consmetically correct. You need a deeper guage cup to reduce the amount of brass fittings sticking out the back. Put black heat shrink tube over that. I have black rubber tubing to avoid seeing white nylon behind the guage.
Adjusting will not be a science. Each vehicle will behave differently. The more that you have done to clean up the 3 major intake restrictions, the faster your boost rate of rise and greater the cold weather pressure overshoots. For those that have moved their pressure sources to after the IC, the overshoots will be more of a problems as well.
The solution would be a small blow off valve or pop off valve, hooked up after the throttle plate. It needs to be metal to stand up to the heat of the engine plus the leat of the summer turbo charged air. What would people be prepared to spend on something like that, assuming that the install would be an easy DIY?
You can tap into the dimmer power at the light dimmer module.
