Un modified vegy oil will attack various hoses and seals.
Bio diesel is an modified vegy oil. Lye is disolved in alchohol, then added to the vegy oil and heated for a few hours. Glicerene (sp wrong...) is skimmed off of the top. Search http://www.dticlub.com for detailed instructions and other bio diesel related issues.
Bio diesel base stock has a much better cetane rating and no sulfer. So it is a much better fuel. An additive package would be good, but would not need to be as extensive as the additive package used for dyno base stock. The bio diesels are also more lubricating for the fuel pump, which is a big concern with dyno base stock, especially with lower levels of sulfer.
