Brian,
I'm the guy that posted the ALD-F8 DIN to RCA converter, and it is the wrong choice. Why? Because it only gives you 2 RCA channels so you get front and back or left and right, not all 4.
The right way to go: go to your local radioshack, cartoys, etc. and pick up a speaker level to RCA line output converter. Use the diagram on Richard Bevan's FAQ as a guide for what wire is rear left negative/positive, etc. I just installed 2 of these converters behind my factory head unit - they both fit no problem - ran the RCA cables back to my amp, and my stereo has never sounded better.
You'll probably have to take apart the glovebox and the sidewall to run the RCA cables up behind the dash, but it is really very easy and the instructions are also on Richard's FAQ.
If you can't find the converter at a local store, go to http://www.go2pac.com and look up part # SNI-35 Line Output Converter.
Have fun!
Jim D.
PS: Be sure to hook up the RCA converter behind the head unit, don't run the speaker level wires all the way back to your amplifier. The signal is weak and will pick up interference from other wires on the way back.
