Installed my Viggen Intercooler today. Just got back from a performance run. Waited a couple of trips this morning to keep checking for any leaks. Then it was time to play. During the cold spring here in Rochester, NY I had to turn my MBC out 1/2 turn due to overboost. Last week was very hot so the boost was running about 12psi at this setting. After installing the intercooler, the boost was perfect...around 14-15psi w/out cutout. I'm convinced it's way better, fast spool-up too. (Someday soon I'll tap the exit of the intercooler for the MBC input hose. I see that you and Dean have done this with varied results...I'll throw myself in there too.) :) I'm even pretty sure the tailpipe is a tad louder too just because it's breathing better. I'll be checking your site to see your downpipe installation.
Would 2.5" downpipe be good also, or is that what's on there stock?? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to modify. Why did you go w/ 3" downpipe? TIA

p.s. Changed t-stat and that crazy non-working oil pressure sensor while I had it up on ramps. Now my oil light on the dash works! I noticed the old part was superceded by the sensor I got, so I hope they made them better...they are $10 more expensive.
